gEDA-dev: Code sprint aftermath question
Guys --
Great code sprint today! We had over 20 people on IRC (integrated
over time), and had 17 people logged in on IRC at one point in time.
I certainly had fun, and got some stuff done too (although never
enough)! Ales told me the number of individual commits... it was
quite large.
On the way back home, I wondered if it would be possible to get an
audio link set up too. Something like a conference call. It would
provide a good addition to the IRC channel, and would help open up the
communication bandwidth. (On the other hand, it might increase
useless chit-chat, but hey! this is supposed to be fun!)
Question: does anybody have a recommendation for a decent Linux-based
conference calling software system? Requirements:
* Free (as in beer).
* Runs on Linux.
* Works over the Internet (i.e. IP telephony).
* Minimal hardware requirements. I suppose we need to get a machine
with a microphone and speakers, but that's all I want to get.
* Supports conference calling (i.e. many different locations on one
call).
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Stuart
