I see that like I see dinosaurs thinking that being big is a good idea
after the meteor struck, and who are these little mice that they think
small is better! It's simply a matter of maladaptation: if corporate
Suits refuse to take advantage of what gEDA (wants to) offers, then
bully for them: gedaconsulting.com'ers will be happy to outcompete them!
It's unfortunate for the engineering types employed in these
corporations if they can't use the latest and greatest of what gEDA has
to offer, but I hope the gEDA project doesn't make it a habit to kowtow
to the needs of the Suits ahead of the needs of its other users!
Now if these corporate Suits actually PAID people to work on gEDA,
*then* maybe they would have some moral claim on some consideration for
*their* interests.

If you're doing a SWOT analysis of gEDA in the EDA market, this spells
'O'(pportunity).

I agree: "Upgrading" by reinstalling is so yesterday. So Windows.
