Here's the desktop file I've added in the Debian package of 1.2.0. I
started with the Ubuntu version, but fixing it meant rewriting it
really.
The allowed top-level sections are frankly not very good. "Development"
sounds like software development but there is not really anything more
appropriate. The full desktop spec is at
http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/1.0/apa.html
The comment could use improvement.
This needs to be installed into /usr/share/applications as
geda-gschem.desktop or something to that effect.
gattrib also needs a desktop file, which I'll create later. Ubuntu
doesn't have one. The non-GUI tools don't need one however.
