I think we should be aware of another thorny issue..
what encoding are those characters in inside geda-font.scm?
They should probably be stipulated as being UTF-8, since that is what
gschem uses internally, and any characters entered to gschem via GTK
will be in that encoding.
I think this may be correct already, but my email viewer doesn't display
the characters. (I think its default, or your mail-client's default
threw it).
Switching to UTF-8 manually in my mail client seems to fix the preview,
so I guess the file is OK already.. perhaps we just need to write down
the UTF-8 "rule" somewhere.
