Eep! My mistake. Sorry 'bout that.

I have mixed feeling about them occasionally, but I must admit that I
will get the .RPM for something I want if it is available, because I am
not always interested in taking the time to figure out how and where to
install X and its dependencies. I used the gschem RPMS until I had to
have the pin attribute stuff that isn't in any RPM versions.

Anyhow, ...

How 'bout a "Library select" dialog box that looks in standard places
for installed libraries and allows the user to select from them the things
he wants to include in his personal search path, including the order. This
box can then write a user specific scheme file that gnetlist and gschem
promise to look for.

This divides making the library visible and adding the library to the search
path into two parts. The Making the Library Visible part can be done by
automated installers (or make install) and the Adding the Library to my
Search Path part can be done with simple selection boxes.
