IMHO, wxwindows is a dead end.  Gtk+ version 2 will be even more
portable than the current one.  Not to mention that on Unix, wxWindows
wraps gtk, IIRC.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep guile.  If anything, I'd write more of gschem
in guile!

I wouldn't give up UNIX functionality for the sake of Windows users. 
I'd bet the Unix:windows ratio among geda users is between 20 and 50 to
1.
