I just like to notice, that I am one of the 1.

For me, one of the great advantages of this software is, that it
compiles straight on UNIX AND NT. I am using the software with other
colleagues and not only from one company and some have UNIX and some
NT. We can use the same libraries and the same guile-scripts (which I
do like very much).

Right now on NT it runs with cygnus and X11, that is ok with me. I
don't need anything more than that. But if Ales spend time on a native
port that would be fine with me.

There is another reason for supporting NT. It turns out, that many
software for EDA is mutating to NT, some of it is already only
available under NT.

For me, the usage of gEDA instead of propriatary software depends
mainly on the availabilty (including costs) and the integration to the
connected software. It is hard to convince somebody to throw away
his/her frontend (even if it is a poorly made one) if it has a button
to start the simulation (which automatically generates the netlist)
and see the simulation results using another button and attach some
probes.
