gEDA on Windows (was Re: gEDA: Yet more new code in CVS)

I tried to compile it the other day under cygwin and didn't get very far. I can't find an FAQ on this, are there any resources I should look at? Alternatively, could I get assistance from those (few?) who have successfully managed it?

Thanks,
Martin

Hi Matthew,

I just like to notice, that I am one of the 1.

For me, one of the great advantages of this software is, that it
compiles straight on UNIX AND NT. I am using the software with other
colleagues and not only from one company and some have UNIX and some
NT. We can use the same libraries and the same guile-scripts (which I
do like very much).
