Per sheet?  Yikes!  That's an awfully big page.

My data point was the largest sheet in a 42-page schematic; but since
only one sheet is active at once in gschem, the total size of the
board isn't too important.  (My schematic "component" count is higher
than the physical PCB component count because of drawing styles like
using a single-pin component to represent each contact in a multi-pin
connector.)
