I don't think you're the one and only. I wrote a small article in a
swedish EDA/electronics magazine a couple of months ago and about the onöy
questions I got was:
"Cool, does it work with Windows??"

At that time I said no because I didn't want to put people in cygwin (I've
heard bad things about it), but maybe it't usable??

Is it possible that you can write down a recepie for howto do it with
cygwin?? I would be very glad, because it means that I can point
interested people at it.

A native port would be nice, but I don't think Ales should or has the
interest to spend time at it. Rather a Windows hacker should fix it. And
then we have the questions about graphics and scripting.

I read some articles in some swedish EDA magazine about EDA companies
abandoning NT, because they didn't sell any NT-licenses. They started to
go to Linux for the clustering et al.

But I think it's simpler than that; if you can afford a license, you can
affford "reasonable" computer like Sun or HP.
