gEDA: netlisting errors

for the command line:

$ gnetlist -g geda -v -o netlist nett.sch >jnk

I get the error output:

$ Could not find uref on component and could not find any special
attributes!

The error seems to be associated with the Vdd symbol.  Putting a UREF on
the VDD symbol does not seem to be the right thing.  Do I need to put a
'special attribute'?  I have not found any documentation or exambles of
those.  Suggestions?

When I use -g geda, I get the error:

$ERROR: In procedure open-file:
$ERROR: No such file or directory: "attribs"
