hello,

At the moment there are a lot of symbols that do not match current symbol
spec.

Do you think it is better to repair them or should the symbols be created
new.

If we repair we have to leave the pins of the symbols on the same place, but
 adding things like pinlabel, pintype, missing attributes, missing power
nets and correct colors would be possible without breaking existing schematics.
