gEDA: gschem annoyance . . . .

Hello --

Another question from a newbie; please be patient.

I have placed a titleblock on my schematic. Now, when I try to move a
component using the middle mouse button, the titleblock almost always
thinks that it has been selected, and it gets moved instead of the
component. This is kind of annoying. I therefore usually end up
having to move components by selecting them, and then selecting "move"
from the pop-up you get from the right mouse button. This is not as
convenient as the middle mouse button.

Points/questions:

1. Is there a way to "lock" a component (device or graphic) down so
that it can't be moved? This could be some kind of "nomove"
attribute, or something like that. Perhaps we should build one in to
gschem, if it doesn't already exist.

2. Allegro (amongst other EDA packages) solves this problem by
offering advanced selection options (i.e. a pick menu). Where would I
look in gschem to see if that were feasible here?

Thanks for your answers,
