gEDA-dev: How to branch correctly using CVS

Hi,

As Carlos pointed out, we have branched gEDA/gaf (in CVS) for the
first time.  This was due to the patch that Carlos applied that dealt
with changing the selection list to use GList's instead of the custom
link lists that are throughout gEDA/gaf (btw, I'm all for replacing
every single one of them to use GList's).  This change is for properly
supporting zooming/panning while moving/copying.

The point of this e-mail is to direct everybody's attention to the

that describes how to do CVS branching correctly.  Please read it and
ask any questions.  Many thanks for Dan for pointing out my follies,
