I'm confused.  Are you talking about gschem or pcb here?

On my list for a long time now, but not done yet, is to make the menus 
configurable again in the gtk version.  It probably won't actually be 
that hard and should simplify a big chunk of code.  If someone felt like 
tackling that, it would be a good beginner project because you don't 
have to understand lots and lots of code to do it.
