OK, it's still true that there is a problem with your mingw32
install. The config.log that you sent showed that the mingw-gcc
command tried, but was unable to execute the "as" program. That
is the assembler, and it should have been installed as part of
the mingw install.

The mingw32-5.x.exe is a meta-installer. You ran that and selected
the base C compiler and the C++ language? Maybe there is a selection
for the "binutils" which would include the assembler? Did you
remember to add the mingw/bin directory to your path?
