PeterB and I got together before he left for home and applied them. He
will be off-list until some time in Jan now.
It hasn't yet re-introduced the SELECTION struct, but it is a step along
the way - making all usage consistent.
PeterB suggested: typedef struct { GList *object; } SELECTION
Which you'd pass by reference so it can be modified.

Indeed. I've still to re-base my noscreen stuff against HEAD, so if
some / all of Patrick's patches (re-based and applied incrementally
would be nice) are tested, and go in first - it shouldn't be much more
work to re-base onto those.

Sure.. my next week or two will be quite hectic anyway. Perhaps between
28th and New years I might be able to spend some time hacking.
