Hmm. I hadn't considered putting it there (only because we are
going to run out of space at the top bar sooner or later), but that
might actually be the best place so that it is in everybody's face.

I think the section in the FAQ is the only web place where the
license is discussed.  The source tarballs have all the COPYING
files.

Oh yes, I definitely approve. You may also want to put a link to
the page somewhere in the general faq, near the licensing
section.
